Welcome to the Clive Doubell Brick Foundation. This is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping strike at the heart of poverty & crime in South Africa & surrounding countries. Our intention is to empower each previously disadvantaged individual with a choice to help build up a country for others to be proud of as well as be helped by others to achieve their dreams.
The organisation was founded in fond memory of a man that gave his life helping bring sustainable job creation tools to anyone wanting to better their own life as well as the life of the surrounding communities. Clive Doubell invented affordable block & brick-making machines in 1981 for usage with unskilled labour. The bricks made by these machines save up to 80% of the material costs one would pay when purchasing from brick sellers. This not only allowed poor individuals to afford building a roof over their heads, but also gave a boost to disposable income.
While Clive Doubell passed away in 2006, the business still continues to help underprivileged entrepreneurs.
The foundation now exists to help individuals with financial difficulty to achieve their goals by sponsoring hardworking achievers with the necessary machinery/equipment & skills to run a brickyard in their local municipality.
If you are such an individual looking for sponsorship, contact us with your details.
In contrast, the foundation is also looking for assistance - from corporate sponsorship to small financial donations. If you would like to support a worthy cause of allowing individuals to help themselves fight inflation, housing deficits & extreme poverty, please contact us for more information.
Thank you for your time looking into our organisation.
